Day 1: Arrive HANOI (D)
Meet on arrival at Hanoi International airport at 06.30 am. Transfer to hotel and check in at 08.30 am. Free time to explore the exotic atmosphere of Hanoi. Free lunch. 14.00 City tour with Guide and driver tour of: Hoan Kiem Lake (Lake of the Restored Sword), the The Huc (Rising Sun) Bridge, the Ngoc Son Temple (dedicated to national hero Tran Hung Dao, La To, saint of physicians and the scholar Van Xuong), Tortoise Pagoda in Hoan Kiem Lake, the arts gallery across from the The Huc Bridge. (Note: these are all in the area of Hoan Kiem lake; the lake is the emotional vortex of Hanoi) and an extensive one-hour Cyclo tour from the lake to Restaurant for Vietnamese dinner. Return to Water pupet Theater by cyclo for seeing show. Come back to hotel by bus and overnight at hotel.
Day 2: HANOI – Ha Long (BLD)
Hafl day in the morning city tour with St. Joseph’s Cathedral (1886), Masion Central (Hoa Lo: The Furnace Prison; AKA the Hanoi Hilton), Ba Dinh Square: One-Pillar Pagoda (Chua Mot Cot, circa 1049), Dien Huu Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh House on Stilts, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum; Temple of Literature (Den Van Mieu, circa 1070). Lunch at local restaurant. Departure via vehicle for Ha Long Bay. Arrival Ha Long. Check in hotel then free time until dinner. Come back hotel for free time.
Day 3: HALONG-HANOI-HUe (BLD)
Board your ocean going vessel for a 4-hours tour of the over 3,000 islets and islands dotting an emerald green sea. Lunch served on board. Return to Bai Chay and drive back to Hanoi. Dinner and take the night train with First class train 4 berths per cabin to Hue. Overnight on board.
Day 4: HUE (BLD)
Arrive Hue around 10.30 am. Meet local guide and driver at railway station and transfer to Hotel. Late Breakfast is served at hotel before check in. Free time. Mid-afternoon visit former Imperial Citadel of Nguyen Dynasty, Vietnam’s last dynasty [1802-1945]. The citadel is a smaller replica of China’s Forbidden City. Stop to visit the famous Thien Mu Pagoda, unofficial symbol of the City of Hue. Dinner at Tinh Gia Vien restaurant. Come back hotel. Free time.
Day 5: HUE - DANANG - HOIAN (BLD)
08.00 am take boat trip to Ming mang tomb, the Nguyen Dynasty’s second emperor [1820-1840]. The tomb is perhaps the most beautiful of all royal tombs. Stop on the way to visit Khai Dinh tomb. Lunch. Departure on new Highway 1 via vehicle to Da Nang. Arrive Danang and proceed on a brief Danang city tour: Cham Museum which contains the largest collection of ancient Cham limestone carvings in the world; the Kingdom of Champa, an Indianized kingdom, occupied Vietnam’s Central Coastal Littoral until the arrival of the Vietnamese in the 15th-century. Continue to the ancient City, Hoi An. Check in hotel. Dinner and overnight in Hoi An.
Day 6: HOIAN (BLD)
Morning visit Marble mountain for spectacular view of China beach, climb up to the mountain (note: preparing sport shoe). Back to Hoi An, Discover the ancient city of Hoi An which Marco Polo noted in his journals on is 13th-century trip to China with large community of foreign merchants resulted in a unique architecture style of Vietnamese and Chinese and Japanese cultures. Dinner and overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7: Hoi An - da nang – HCMC (BLD)
Transfer to Da Nang railway station for Sai Gon. Enjoy your journey across Vietnam’s Central and Valley. Accommodations: First sleeper berths. Lunch & dinner on board.
Day 8: HCMC- MYTHO – HCMC (BLD)
Arrive Saigon in early morning. Meet guide & driver at central railway station. Transfer to hotel for check in at 7.00am. Breakfast at restaurant. Mid-morning day trip to My tho, a prosperous town of the Mekong delta river with exuberant and vast rice fields. Boat trip on Mekong River and visit Thoi son island. Lunch at local restaurant. Return to Saigon via vehicle. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9: My tho- Tay Ninh-Cuchi (BLD)
Drive to Cu chi, visit Cu chi tunnel, then transfer to Tay Ninh for visiting Cao dai templ at 12.00 noon. Back to Saigon, visit China town with Thien Hau Temple, visit GLX hand made shop 114A-Nguyen Hue. Dinner & Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: HCMC – Departure(B)
Late breakfast. Transfer to Tan son Nhat International Airport for departure. End.
